We have enjoyed two fun seasons of entertaining at the Painted Badger Pub in LA Renaissance Festival. We hope to return in 2012. "Like" our Tribe's page on FaceBook to stay hip to our gigs.

Tribal Happenings (Directed by LadyM) is comprised of students from her studio, The Belly Room, which relocated to Atlanta, GA in 2011. LadyM returns regularly to train and perform with her dancers. LA la Tribal (Sister Troupe: Directed by Lady April) is local to Hammond, LA - classes available at Center Studio. Lady April is one of T.H.'s principle dancers and the troupe is comprised of many of the same members.

LadyMe Workshops in LA: 18-20 June 2012 (Tentative)
	Belly Dance 18 June - MON @ Paige's Place 5:30-7:00pm Layers & Shimmys Open to All Levels 7:15-8:15pm Tribal for Stage. Working on combos and with music for tight improvisation numbers. Open to Intermediate + 20 June - WED @ TBA* 7:00-8:30pm Choreography Desert Journey (bring finger cymbals). *must be currently attending the chore workshop or signed up for the online tutorial ($15 for the month & free to workshop attendants).
Layers & Shimmys: This new series is an open level class that will teach the basics of layers and shimmies - ALL sorts! You won't believe how many ways there are to shake it! Choreography: Desert Journey by Solace: This is a 7 minute piece designed for 6 dancers and will make a great opening number to a stage show. I encourage you to bring your zills. If you are not currently taking this class - you can sign up for it online and practice at home (access for 30 days is just $15 and it's free to participants). Those signed up and practicing at home online may join the this workshop. Tribal for Stage: (Intermediate +) The focus will be on group combinations and transitions practiced to songs that will be loosely choreographed for stage shows (hopefully RenFest 2012)! Choreography to Come: Veil with Fan Veils (5 to 6 dancer number), Kashlima, and 10 to 12 "Duel-et" Variation. We have a big list of things to get through and the rest of the year will fly by fast. Speed up the choreography classes by practicing the material over the month at home. That is why I offer the video to participants for free! Take advantage of this so we can get to new material quickly. _________________________________________________________________
